石灰石

Limestone

石灰石俗称“青石”，是一种主要由碳酸钙组成的沉积岩，通常颜色柔和、质地细腻、可塑性强，拥有良好的加工性与装饰性。由于其形成过程中的地质沉积特性，石灰石常带有天然化石、条纹或纹理，富有历史感与文化气息。被广泛应用于古典建筑、教堂立面、现代极简建筑、庭院铺装、雕塑装置等领域。

Limestone is a sedimentary rock mainly composed of calcium carbonate, usually with soft colors, delicate texture, strong plasticity, and good workability and decorative properties. Due to its geological sedimentation characteristics during formation, limestone often contains natural fossils, stripes or textures, rich in historical and cultural atmosphere. It is widely used in classical architecture, church facades, modern minimalist buildings, courtyard paving, sculpture installations and other fields.
